Terms and Conditions for Tundra Tide Services
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any services provided by Tundra Tide, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions outlined herein, you may not access the website or use any services.
2. Eligibility
Our adventures and services are available to individuals who are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding contracts. Certain activities may have additional age or fitness requirements, which will be specified in the adventure details. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
3. Booking and Payment
- Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your spot on an adventure. The amount will be specified during the booking process.
- Full Payment: Full payment is typically due 60 days prior to the adventure start date. Failure to make timely payments may result in the cancellation of your booking without refund of the deposit.
- Pricing: All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified and are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. The refund policy is as follows:
- More than 90 days prior: Full refund minus deposit.
- 60-90 days prior: 50% refund, minus deposit.
- Less than 60 days prior: No refund.
- Tour Operator Cancellation: In the rare event Tundra Tide must cancel an adventure (e.g., due to unforeseen circumstances, natural disasters, or insufficient participants), you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook for an alternative date. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses, such as non-refundable airfares or other travel costs.
5. Travel Insurance
Tundra Tide strongly recommends that all participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, and baggage loss. It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate coverage.
6. Participant Responsibilities
- You are responsible for ensuring you are fit and healthy enough to participate in your chosen adventure.
- You must comply with all local laws and regulations, as well as the instructions of Tundra Tide guides and staff.
- You are responsible for any damages you cause to property or equipment.
- Respect for the environment and local communities is paramount.
7. Limitation of Liability
Tundra Tide, its employees, guides, and agents shall not be liable for any personal injury, death, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect in any vehicle or through the acts or omissions of any company or persons engaged in conveying the passenger or otherwise in carrying out the arrangements of the tour or adventure. Participation in adventures involves inherent risks, and you assume all such risks.

9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Alberta, Canada.

Tundra Tide reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated terms will be effective upon posting on our website. It is your responsibility to review them periodically.
